Vision Kids Foundation Project

Since 2016 we have been working hand in hand with local community schools and several homesteads to equip children with computer knowledge. In Uganda most children residing in the rural settings are computer illiterates in this dot com era. Most of them are victims due to their poor family backgrounds and lack of electricity in such areas. As VKFP we’re here to ensure that both girl and boy child have access to computer and thus use all the digital platforms to share, learn, earn and exchange ideas accordingly. Our target groups are orphans, disabled and other groups of children, who can’t afford to go to school and truly want to shape their future through getting different computer skills and learn other activities at the same time.

About the project

How you can help

We really want to help these kids to get out of the cycle of poverty and we do our best to teach them skills that can make them independent, so we need all the help we can get.

To be as transparent as possible, the funds are used for various needs, the main ones being:

  • Rent of premises for the classrooms

  • Bills

  • Administrative and bureaucratic costs

  • Specialized teachers

  • Cost to collect donated PCs (We have to pay a postal service fee to collect the computers that are shipped to us, even if they are a donation.)

  • Common utility objects such as desks, pens, notebooks, printers.

We are really grateful to anyone who wants to help us and after the donation, if you like it, leave us a message with your whatsapp number and we will update you monthly on the progress of the project and we will send you photos of our young students, so that you too feel truly part of ours big family. =)

No child should face barriers to education. Our non-profit community based organization strives to provide free computer training, access to necessary equipment, and accelerate funding for sufficient school spaces.

Our Mission , To assist the underprivileged young generation with computer-related technology.
