Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your comfortable mid-range hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
The remainder of the day is intentionally relaxed, allowing you to recover from your journey and prepare for the safari. If your arrival time permits, an optional Entebbe activity may be arranged at an additional cost.

Day 2 – Entebbe → Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary → Murchison Falls
After an early breakfast, depart northwards through Uganda's countryside towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
On-Foot White Rhino Tracking
At Ziwa, meet the sanctuary ranger and receive a safety briefing before beginning an on-foot search for white rhinos. Walking through the reserve gives you a different perspective from a conventional game drive, while your ranger explains rhino behaviour, habitat and conservation.
After the experience, continue towards Murchison Falls National Park. Depending on timing, visit the Top of the Falls and see the Nile squeezed through a narrow gorge before plunging into the valley below.

Day 3 – Murchison Falls Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Rise early for a game drive across the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. The cooler morning hours provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.
Search for lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, antelopes, warthogs and a wide variety of birds while your experienced guide interprets the landscape and wildlife.
Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise
After lunch, board a boat and cruise towards the base of Murchison Falls. The riverbanks attract hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many waterbirds, creating excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife observation.

Day 4 – Murchison Falls → Kibale National Park
After breakfast, begin the journey southwards to Kibale National Park. Travel through rural communities, farmlands and changing landscapes as you move from the northern savannah into western Uganda.
Continue through the scenic Albertine Rift region and arrive near Kibale Forest in the late afternoon. Check in, relax and prepare for the next day's primate experience.

Day 5 – Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, prepare for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, one of Uganda's most important primate habitats.
Chimpanzee Tracking Briefing
Before entering the forest, park staff and guides conduct a briefing covering safety, responsible wildlife viewing, forest etiquette, photography, health precautions and what to expect during the trek.
Enter the rainforest accompanied by experienced guides and trackers. The search is focused on habituated chimpanzees, while the forest may also reveal other primates, birds, butterflies and rich tropical vegetation.

Bigodi Wetland Walk
Later, enjoy a guided community-based walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Explore the wetland ecosystem, search for birds and primates and learn about local livelihoods and conservation initiatives.

Day 6 – Kibale → Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park through beautiful western Uganda.
Enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains, the famous Mountains of the Moon, where weather conditions allow. Continue into Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy an evening game drive across the savannah plains.

Day 7 – Queen Elizabeth Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Start early with a game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Search for lions, leopards, Uganda kob, elephants, buffaloes and other wildlife.
Late Afternoon Kazinga Channel Cruise
After lunch, take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a spectacular wildlife-rich waterway. Large pods of hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and numerous waterbirds can often be seen along the channel.

Day 8 – Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions → Bwindi
Continue through the remote Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for lions that sometimes rest high in fig and acacia trees.
Enjoy a game drive while your guide searches for the tree-climbing lions and other wildlife including elephants, buffaloes and antelopes. Continue towards the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the spectacular highlands of southwestern Uganda.

Day 9 – Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today you enter Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife experiences: mountain gorilla trekking.
Briefing & Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for the mandatory briefing. Rangers explain trekking procedures, safety, responsible wildlife viewing, health precautions, photography and conservation.
The trek can be physically demanding and may involve steep, muddy and uneven forest terrain. Trekking time depends on the location of the assigned gorilla family and conditions in the forest.
Once the gorilla family is located, follow the ranger's instructions throughout the permitted viewing period. Observe their behaviour respectfully while maintaining the required distance.

Important: Gorilla trekking requires reasonable physical fitness. Guests should follow all ranger instructions and should not participate when experiencing infectious symptoms.

Day 10 – Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga → Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for an exciting golden monkey tracking experience.
Golden Monkey Tracking
Begin with a ranger-led briefing covering safety, forest etiquette and responsible wildlife viewing. Walk through bamboo and montane forest in search of golden monkeys.
Experienced guides and trackers help locate the troop and explain their behaviour, habitat and conservation. The activity involves walking through uneven forest terrain, so suitable footwear and clothing are essential.

After tracking, continue to the beautiful shores of Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 11 – Lake Bunyonyi → Lake Mburo National Park
Enjoy a peaceful morning on Lake Bunyonyi with a canoe ride or island tour. Discover the lake's islands, landscapes and local stories before continuing your journey.
Later, drive towards Lake Mburo National Park. Depending on arrival time, enjoy an afternoon or sunset game drive in search of zebras, impalas, elands, warthogs and other wildlife.

Day 12 – Lake Mburo Nature Walk → Equator → Entebbe
Start your final morning with a guided nature walk or short game drive, depending on park conditions and your preferred experience.
Walking Safari
With a trained ranger, explore the ecosystem on foot and learn to identify animal tracks, droppings, plants, birds and other signs of wildlife. This provides an intimate way to experience the bush beyond a vehicle.
After the activity, begin the drive back to Entebbe. Stop at the Equator crossing for photographs and souvenir shopping before continuing to Entebbe International Airport.
Your transfer will be coordinated according to your evening flight schedule.
