Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Entebbe Airport Pickup & Optional Entebbe Activities
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Entebbe International Airport. Our guide will meet you and transfer you to your lodge in Entebbe.
If your arrival time allows, you can choose an optional experience around Entebbe. Possibilities include a Shoebill experience, Uganda Reptile Village, Entebbe Botanical Gardens or another suitable local experience.
The day is kept flexible because international arrival times can vary.

Day 2 – Entebbe → Jinja, the Adventure Capital of East Africa
After breakfast, begin the journey to Jinja, Uganda's famous adventure destination on the River Nile. Settle into the city before heading out for a village cycling experience.
Jinja Village Bike Tour & Community Project
Cycle through quiet village trails, farms and local settlements while experiencing everyday life around Jinja. You will also visit our community project and learn how tourism experiences can support community initiatives.
Boat Experience on the Nile
Enjoy a boat trip on the River Nile, including the Source of the Nile experience.

Day 3 – Jinja → Sipi Falls: Waterfalls & Coffee
After breakfast, drive towards the spectacular Sipi Falls region in eastern Uganda. Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel into the foothills of Mount Elgon.
Sipi Falls Hike
Take a guided hike to explore the Sipi Falls area, following scenic paths through green countryside and viewpoints around the waterfalls.
Sipi Coffee Experience
Learn about coffee growing, harvesting, processing and preparation while interacting with local farmers. After the activities, check in at the lodge and relax.

Day 4 – Sipi Falls → Moroto: Into Karamoja
After breakfast, continue towards Moroto in northeastern Uganda. The landscape changes dramatically as you enter Karamoja, a region known for its distinctive culture, semi-arid scenery and pastoral traditions.
Depending on local arrangements and timing, visit local markets and traditional kraals. Your guide will help you understand local livelihoods, community structures, traditions and the relationship with cattle.

Day 5 – Moroto → Kidepo Valley National Park
Continue towards Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda's most remote and spectacular wilderness destinations. Enjoy rugged mountains, open plains and distant valleys.

Day 6 – Kidepo Valley → Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, begin a full-day transfer towards Murchison Falls National Park. This long travel day lets you see how Uganda's landscapes change from the remote northeast towards the northern savannah and Nile region.
Planned comfort breaks include coffee and lunch stops along the way, with suitable breaks for photographs.

Day 7 – Murchison Falls Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Start with an early morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. Look out for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kob, antelopes, warthogs, lions and a wide variety of birds.
Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise
After lunch, cruise along the Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. Watch for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and waterbirds while enjoying the dramatic river scenery.

Day 8 – Top of Murchison Falls → Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, visit the Top of Murchison Falls and experience the power of the Nile as it is forced through the narrow gorge.
Continue towards Kibale Forest National Park through changing landscapes from savannah country into the greener western region.

Day 9 – Chimpanzee Tracking & Community Experience
After an early breakfast, prepare for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. Before entering the forest, attend the mandatory briefing covering safety, forest rules, responsible wildlife viewing and what to expect.
Enter the rainforest with experienced guides and trackers in search of chimpanzees. The forest is also home to other primates, birds, butterflies and diverse plant life.

After lunch, enjoy a local community experience such as the banana experience or a guided Bigodi Swamp walk, depending on your preferred activity and availability.

Day 10 – Kibale → Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, continue towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Make an Equator stop for photographs and a short break. Continue through beautiful western landscapes with views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Evening Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The channel attracts hippos and other wildlife, while its shores provide excellent birdwatching opportunities.

Day 11 – Kasenyi Plains Game Drive & Crater Experience
Rise early for a game drive through the Kasenyi plains. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, antelopes, warthogs, hyenas and birds.
Crater Experience
Later, visit the scenic crater area and enjoy volcanic landscapes and viewpoints around Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 12 – Queen Elizabeth → Ishasha via Rwenshama Landing Site
After breakfast, continue towards Ishasha. En route, visit Rwenshama Landing Site and experience life around the waters of Lake Edward.
Continue to Ishasha and enjoy an evening game drive, searching for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and the famous tree-climbing lions.

Day 13 – Ishasha Morning Game Drive → Bwindi
Begin with an early morning game drive in Ishasha, providing another chance to search for tree-climbing lions and other wildlife.
After lunch, continue towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the mountainous and green landscapes of southwestern Uganda.

Day 14 – Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience
Today is one of the major highlights of the journey — gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Gorilla Trekking Briefing & Trek
After early breakfast, proceed to the briefing point. Park staff and guides explain trekking rules, safety, responsible wildlife viewing, photography guidance, appropriate distance, health precautions and conservation.
The trek can be physically demanding. Duration and difficulty depend on the location of the assigned gorilla family, and terrain may be steep, muddy and slippery. Once the family is located, follow your guides' instructions during the permitted viewing period.

Later, visit the Batwa community and learn about their cultural heritage and traditional relationship with the forest.

Day 15 – Bwindi → Lake Mutanda & Evening Boat Cruise
After breakfast, transfer towards beautiful Lake Mutanda near Kisoro. Enjoy spectacular highland scenery as the road winds through the hills and valleys.
Check in at the lodge and relax. Later, take a peaceful boat cruise on Lake Mutanda, surrounded by green hills and dramatic volcanic landscapes.

Day 16 – Mgahinga National Park & Golden Monkey Tracking
After breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a morning golden monkey tracking experience.
Golden Monkey Tracking
Before entering the forest, attend the ranger-led briefing covering safety, forest etiquette and responsible wildlife viewing. Walk through bamboo and montane forest in search of golden monkeys. Your guides and trackers will help locate the troop and explain behaviour, habitat and conservation.

After tracking, return to the lodge and relax.

Day 17 – Lake Mutanda → Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, drive towards Lake Bunyonyi through the spectacular highlands of southwestern Uganda. Check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge with beautiful views of the lake.
Evening Lake Bunyonyi Island Experience
Explore some of the lake's islands by boat and learn about the history and stories associated with Lake Bunyonyi and the surrounding communities.

Day 18 – Lake Bunyonyi → Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, continue towards Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the changing landscape as you travel through southwestern Uganda.
Night Game Drive
After settling in, enjoy a night game drive where conditions and park arrangements permit. Experience the park as nocturnal animals become active, while your guide follows park safety regulations.

Day 19 – Lake Mburo Nature Walk & Community / Boat Experience
Start with a guided nature walk with wildlife. Unlike a normal game drive, this allows you to explore the ecosystem on foot with a trained ranger. Learn to recognize animal tracks, droppings, plants, birds and other signs of wildlife activity.
Depending on the route and conditions, you may encounter zebras, impalas, warthogs, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes and many bird species.
Later, choose between a local community experience or a boat safari cruise on the lake, depending on your interests, time and availability.

Day 20 – Lake Mburo → Kampala City Tour
After breakfast, transfer towards Kampala for a cultural and city experience. Your guide will introduce you to Uganda's capital through important cultural, historical and everyday places.
Possible Kampala Experiences
- National Mosque: explore a major Kampala landmark and enjoy city views where access and timing permit.
- Independence Monument: learn about Uganda's independence and capture photographs.
- Kasubi Tombs: discover an important cultural site associated with the Buganda Kingdom, subject to opening arrangements.
- Local markets: experience the energy of Kampala's markets and everyday commerce.
Ndele Cultural Centre
Later, enjoy lunch at Ndele Cultural Centre and experience traditional songs and dance, providing a lively introduction to Uganda's cultural diversity.

Day 21 – Kampala → Entebbe & Optional Activity Before Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight. If your flight time allows, we can arrange an optional final experience around Entebbe, such as a Botanical Gardens visit, Reptile Village or a suitable Shoebill experience, depending on timing and availability.
Your guide will ensure you reach Entebbe International Airport in good time for departure.
